CALLING ALL CHILI CONNOISSEURS (and anyone who just loves chili!) SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11th BEGINNING AT 5:00 p.m. IN THE SMALL AUDITORIUM (Enter through Door 4). PLEASE JOIN OUR CHURCH FAMILY FOR SOME FUN, FELLOWSHIP, FOOD, AND FOOTBALL! DO YOU THINK YOUR CHILI HAS WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN??? Check out all of the ways you can be a part of this fun event below. OR just come, taste, vote, hang out, and watch the Super Bowl! HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS: If you want your chili to be in the competition, please arrive no later than 5:00 pm to get set up. Each chili will be assigned a number at check-in. Please make sure to put your chili on the correct category table (Traditional, Spicy, or Specialty). We will provide markers and placards for your name and/or describe your chili. However, do NOT put your name on it! This is an anonymous cook-off. VOTING: Voting begins promptly at 5:45 pm and will conclude at 6:30 pm. Everyone in attendance - including cook-off contestants - will be given 3 tickets to vote with. How voters use their tickets is up to them. You may use all 3 to vote for one chili or spread them out however you choose. After the voting concludes, bowls will be provided for everyone to eat whatever is left of the chili. Awards will be presented at 7:00 pm. OTHER DETAILS: If you are bringing chili for the cook-off, please make enough for a large crowd to sample. Potentially, up to 150 people will attend, so plan accordingly. Sample cups, spoons, and napkins will be provided, but please bring your own serving utensils for your chili. If you are not participating in the cook-off, but are bringing a donation, please have it at the church no later than 5:00 pm.
