Calling all chili connoisseurs and anyone who just loves chili. On Sunday, February 8th, beginning at 5:00 pm, in the small auditorium (enter through door 4), please join our church family for some fun, fellowship, food, and football! Do you think your chili has what it takes to win?? If you'd like to enter your chili, click here. If you don't want to compete, you can still come, taste, vote, hang out, and watch Super Bowl 60! How the competition works: If your chili is going to be in the competition, please arrive no later than 5:00 pm to get set up. Each chili will be assigned a number at check-in. Please make sure to put your chili on the correct category table (Traditional, Spicy, or Specialty). We will provide markers and placards for your chili name and/or to describe your chili. However, do not put your name on it! This is an anonymous cook-off. Voting begins promptly at 5:45 pm and will conclude at 6:30 pm. Everyone in attendance - including cook-off contestants - will be given 3 tickets to vote with. How voters use their tickets is up to them. You may use all 3 to vote for one chili or spread them out however you choose. After the voting concludes, bowls will be provided for everyone to eat whatever is left of the chili. Awards will be presented at 7:00 pm. You can also help by signing up here to help with set up, tear down, and providing other needed food items.
